Do you know about wood ducks? They likely were one of the most abundant waterfowl in Eastern North America but were driven to near extinction in the early 20th century. They are making a come back, with laws protecting them, habitat restoration, and the addition of artificial nesting structures, or wood duck boxes. Come join us and our partners, Mobile County Wildlife and Conservation Association, at Braided River Brewing in downtown Mobile, Alabama January 22 from 1pm-3pm to learn more about these colorful ducks, their habitat, and build them some new potential homes! Free to attend, and all ages welcome.
