Join us on the water

The South Alabama Land Trust hosts guided paddle trips along local waterways, with guides pointing out ecological highlights, osprey and bald eagle nests, birds and wildlife, and native flora. Trips will include Weeks Bay, Magnolia River, Mobile-Tensaw Delta, Fish River, Dog River, Perch Creek, and Bon Secour River.

Bald Eagle Paddle

Join us on Saturday, January 22 from 10am-12pm at Meaher State Park on the causeway for our next guided paddle trip. Join other paddlers, along with an experienced birder as your paddle guide, as we try to sight bald eagles and their fledglings.

Paddlers should bring their own kayak or canoe, or, rentals will be available for $40 single kayak and $55 tandem kayak. RENTAL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE EVENT. There is a $2 entrance fee to Meaher State Park. Please arrive in enough time to launch by 10am.
