The South Alabama Land Trust hosts guided paddle trips along local waterways, with guides pointing out ecological highlights, osprey and bald eagle nests, birds and wildlife, and native flora. Trips will include Weeks Bay, Magnolia River, Mobile-Tensaw Delta, Fish River, Dog River, Perch Creek, and Bon Secour River.

On Saturday, Nov. 21, SALT will host a guided paddle trip on Perch Creek in Mobile to explore the Blueway Trails of Perch Creek and learn about a new land conservation agreement between SALT and the City of Mobile.

Paddlers will meet at the McNally Park launch at 11 a.m. The three-hour trip will include stops, so everyone should bring a snack or bag lunch. Paddlers should bring their own kayak or canoe, or, rentals will be available for $40/kayak and $50/canoe. To register, complete the form below.
